David Scourfield

David brings more than thirty years of leadership experience to his role in International Business Development, Marketing, and Admissions at White River Manor.

He began his career in the corporate sector, specialising in asset and property management across Europe and Africa. During this time, he developed a strong understanding of complex operations, client service, and working across diverse cultural environments.

More than twenty years ago, David’s own recovery journey began in South Africa. This experience continues to shape his work today. By combining his professional background with lived experience, he is able to understand both the practical and human aspects of recovery.

David works closely with partners around the world to support international clients and develop key markets for White River Manor. His approach is grounded in empathy, integrity and a clear understanding of the responsibilities involved in mental health care.

Having lived in several countries, David brings a global perspective to his role. He considers South Africa a second home, having spent many formative years there, and values the role that environment, culture, and connection play in the recovery process.
